Dr. med. dent. Gabriela Megaritis Bürgi is an experienced dentist who studied at the University of Zurich and completed her doctorate in the field of hybrid prosthodontics. Since 2002, she has been running her own dental practice at Bundesplatz in the heart of Zug.

Yes, new patients are always welcome and receive an appointment within one week.

What are the practice’s opening hours?
Monday to Friday from 7:30-12:00 and 13:30-17:00. Saturday and Sunday the practice is closed.
Where is the practice located?
The practice is centrally located at Bundesplatz 4 in 6300 Zug. It is very easily accessible by public transport, and there are many nearby parking spaces for drivers.

How does an initial consultation work?
During the initial consultation, a comprehensive examination is conducted using modern diagnostics, discussing your individual needs and jointly creating a transparent treatment plan.
Do you offer special treatments for children?
Yes, the practice offers child-friendly pediatric dentistry with age-appropriate explanations and playful elements to ensure children have a positive experience at the dentist.

Cosmetic treatments include professional bleaching with laser light, veneers (ultra-thin ceramic shells) and high-quality composite and ceramic fillings for a natural appearance.

What costs arise for treatments?
Treatment costs are transparently discussed before each therapy. As an SSO member, we bill according to the official tariff regulations. We are happy to provide you with a detailed cost estimate for larger treatments. Cosmetic treatments include professional bleaching with laser light, veneers (ultra-thin ceramic shells) and high-quality composite and ceramic fillings for a natural appearance.
Are you registered with the SSO?
Yes, the practice is a member of the Swiss Dental Association SSO. This guarantees you advice and treatment based on the latest standards of dentistry.
Emergency
What should I do in case of a dental emergency?
In case of urgent emergencies such as severe toothaches, swelling, or dental accidents, please contact the practice at 041 711 66 33. We will do our best to arrange an appointment for you on the same day.
When does one speak of an emergency?
An emergency exists in case of severe, sudden toothaches, swelling in the face or jaw, broken or knocked-out teeth, persistent bleeding in the mouth, or restricted mouth opening.
How should I behave correctly in case of a dental accident?
For bleeding, press the area with a clean cloth. Store broken teeth or fragments in a tooth-safe box, cold milk, or saliva. Touch completely knocked-out teeth only by the crown and store them moist. Call the practice immediately.
Is there an emergency service outside of opening hours?
Yes, outside of opening hours you can reach the emergency service of the SSO dentists in Zug at 0844 22 40 44. This service is available Mon-Fri 4:00 PM-9:00 PM and Sat/Sun/Holidays 8:00 AM-9:00 PM.

For optimal dental health, we recommend regular checkup appointments every 6 months. Your individual schedule is adjusted based on dental condition and risk factors.
Do you offer reminders for checkup appointments?
Yes, upon your request we offer reminders for regular checkups and dental cleanings. This way you don’t miss any important preventive appointments.
What does a prophylaxis treatment include?
Trained dental hygienists and prophylaxis assistants thoroughly and gently remove dental plaque and tartar. You receive individual advice and a hygiene program tailored to your needs with appropriate products.
Why is regular prophylaxis important?
Regular prophylaxis prevents cavities and periodontitis, maintains long-term dental health, and can avoid costly treatments. Early detection of problems enables gentler therapies.
Special Treatments
Do you offer treatments for teeth grinding?
Yes, for stress-related teeth grinding or clenching, we create individually fitted night guards (NTI, Michigan) that relieve the jaw and prevent consequential damage.
Do you use laser therapy?
Yes, we use soft laser for disinfection in root canal treatments, periodontitis and gum inflammation. This accelerates wound healing and reduces pain.
Do you perform implant treatments?
Yes, we offer both fixed (crowns and bridges) as well as removable implant restorations. Implants enable stable, aesthetic restoration and preserve bone substance.
