The operators of this site take the protection of your personal data very seriously. No personal data are collected via this website. Should you provide us with personal data, we treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
Together with our hosting providers, we strive to protect databases as best as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.
Please note that data transmission on the Internet (e.g., communication via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible. Communication with this website is protected by an SSL certificate.

3. General Principles
3.1 What data do we collect from you and from whom do we receive such data?
Primarily, we process personal data that you transmit to us. We do not collect personal data through the mere visit of our website. In some cases, we may receive personal data about you from third parties. These can be the following categories:
- Personal master data (name, address, date of birth, etc.)
- Contact data (mobile number, email address, etc.)
- Financial data (e.g., account information)
- Audio and image recordings
- Particularly sensitive data (e.g., biometric data or health information)
3.2 Under what conditions do we process your data?
We treat your data confidentially and according to the purposes defined in this privacy policy. We ensure transparent and proportionate processing.
If, exceptionally, we are unable to comply with these principles, data processing may still be lawful if a justification applies. Possible justification grounds include:
- Your consent
- Execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures
- Our legitimate interests, provided your interests do not outweigh ours
3.3 How can you revoke your consent?
If you have given us consent to process your personal data for certain purposes, we process your data within the scope of this consent, unless another justification applies.
You may revoke your consent at any time by sending an email to the address stated in the legal notice. Processing already completed is not affected.
3.4 In which cases may we disclose your data to third parties?
3.4.1 Principle
We may need to use third parties’ services or affiliated companies and commission them to process your data (known as processors). Categories of recipients are in particular:
- Accounting, fiduciary, and audit firms
- Consulting firms (legal advice, taxes, etc.)
We ensure that these third parties and our affiliated companies adhere to data protection requirements and treat your personal data confidentially. In some cases, we are also required to disclose your personal data to authorities.
3.4.2 Transmission abroad
It may be necessary, in the course of outsourced processing, to transfer your data to companies abroad. However, we do not transmit personal data. These companies are obliged to comply with data protection to the same extent as we are. Transmission may occur worldwide.
If the level of data protection does not correspond to that of Switzerland, we perform a prior risk assessment and contractually ensure the same level of protection (e.g., via the new standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or other legally prescribed measures). Should our risk assessment be negative, we take additional technical measures to protect your data. You can view the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses via the following link. https://commission.europa.eu/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors-eueea_de
3.5 How long do we retain your data?
We store personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the individual purposes for which the data were collected.
Data stored during your visit to our website are regularly deleted. These are automated, statistical, non-personal data.
We retain contract data longer due to statutory requirements. In particular, we must retain business correspondence, concluded contracts, and booking vouchers for up to 10 years. If we no longer need such data for service purposes, the data are blocked and used only for accounting and tax purposes.
3.6 How do we protect your data?
We will store your data securely and take all reasonable measures to protect your data against loss, access, misuse, or alteration.
Our contractual partners and employees who have access to your data are obliged to comply with data protection regulations. In some cases, it may be necessary to pass your request on to affiliated companies. Your data will also be treated confidentially in these cases.
Within our website, we use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure with the highest encryption level supported by your browser.
3.7 What rights do you have?
3.7.1 Right of access
You may at any time request information about the data we have stored about you. Please send your request together with proof of identity to praxisgemeinschaft.steinen[at]hin.ch.
You are also entitled to receive your data in a common file format if we process your data automatically and if:
- You have consented to the processing; or
- You have provided data in connection with the conclusion or execution of a contract.
We may restrict or refuse the provision of information or the release of data if this conflicts with our statutory obligations, our own legitimate or public interests, or the interests of third parties.
Your request will be processed within the statutory period of 30 days. This period may be extended due to high request volumes, legal or technical reasons, or if we need more information from you. You will be informed about the extension in writing at least in text form.
3.7.2 Deletion and correction
You may at any time request the deletion or correction of your data. We may refuse the request if legal regulations require us to retain the data longer or unchanged, or if an entitlement opposes your request.
Please note that exercising your rights may conflict with contractual agreements and have corresponding effects on contract performance (e.g., early termination or cost consequences).
3.7.3 Legal recourse
If you are affected by the processing of personal data, you have the right to enforce your rights in court or to submit a complaint to the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner: https://www.edoeb.admin.ch
